The Vatican Museums (Italian: Musei Vaticani) are the public art and sculpture museums in the Vatican City, which display works from the extensive collection of the Roman Catholic Church. Pope Julius II founded the museums in the 16th century. The Sistine Chapel and the Stanze della Segnatura decorated by Raphael are on the visitor route through the Vatican Museums.

We got to the entrance early and we were lucky enough to be the FIRST group
in line. The line can be extremely long.
On Day 2 my camera broke on the way to the Vatican. I got the lens to come out but the focus was off so I didn't have too many good photos.
Outside the Vatican Museum We were FIRST in the Happy Line! :-) |
Couldn't believe there was an escalator. There's all of us! |
