The cookbooks cost $20 each (or less if ordering 5 or more) and are on sale while supplies last.

The cookbook is 165 pages.  There are color photos of many of the family recipe contributors, a listing of all contributors, over 580 recipes, special stories and origins of recipes, special cooking, preparation, and storing tips, garnishing ideas and instructions, substitution and measurements charts, and food related superstitions.

This is a plastic cover (for kitchen splash protection), spiral wire bound cookbook so that it will stay open to the page you want while you are cooking.  The cookbook is signed by the compiler and this is the 1st Cookbook volume.  (The family sold out of the historical genealogical books, volumes I and II.)

Many of the recipes are for local and traditional family dishes that have been passed down for generations making this a historical heirloom.  Recipes are mainly Eastern Pennsylvania, coal region, ethnic beverages, entrees, side dishes, soups, stews, sauces, desserts, etc.  Popular recipes include Boilo, Bleenies, Halupkies, City Chicken, Hot Bologna, Scrapple, and much more.
