1 box pasta - spirals or ruffled macaroni/bow ties (tri-color if
you choose)
1 large onion, chopped fine
1/4 lb hard salami, sliced thick
1/4 lb cooked ham, diced
1 c thinly sliced carrots
1 large bottle Italian dressing
3-4 sticks celery, diced
1 small green pepper, diced
1/4 lb pepperoni, sliced thin
1/4 lb cheddar/provolone cheese, cut into small cubes
Cook pasta and cool then combine with the remaining ingredients, adding the
dressing last. Mix well. If the salad is not to be served
immediately, don't put the dressing on or have a spare bottle on hand to make
the salad saucy again since the pasta will soak it up. Keep the salad
chilled.
You don't have to put everything listed into the salad and you may want to add
other items like olives, cherry tomatoes, or even mandarin oranges for added
flavor.
